The Iceline Trail

Yoho Lake
Yoho Lake is slightly over 4km (8km return) in Yoho National Park. The trail climbs steadily from the trail-head to the lake. However, it never really feels too difficult. While hiking the trail, you can enjoy views of Takakkaw Falls, beautiful flowers, a spectacular lake, Mount Wapta and, possibly, wildlife. Mosquito Creek - Mo5 Campground
Beginning at the parking lot for the Mosquito Creek Wilderness Hostel, this hike ascends up the Mosquito Valley. With brief views of nearby mountains, the trail will lead you alongside Mosquito Creek. Continuing along the trail, you'll arrive at Mosquito Creek Mo5 Campground. Rockbound Lake
Rockbound Lake sits behind Castle Mountain in Banff National Park. The trail (19km out and back) is a steady climb through a diverse forest toward the cliffs of Castle Mountain.
